Donna Taylor Mayo - of Water Wind and Woods

All of the initial artwork is sculpted from clay or cold wax in my studio. A mold is created to form plaster castings which receive more sculptural details prior to being fired. Repurposed window glass is prepared then slumped over or kiln-cast inside the plaster castings then cold worked to finish the pieces. Some of the glass also contain recycled bottles & dishes.
